Objectives


  • To hold a multi-disciplinary call for abstracts to bring people together and encourage cross-talk and collaboration across countries and disciplines;
  • To provide a forum for researchers in the areas of diagnostics, treatment, and prevention of HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis working on or in Lusophone Africa  to network, share data, experience, and general knowledge;
  • To develop collaborative research projects through a start-up grant program for the best proposals created out of the conference, by conference participants, with conference participants;
  • To discuss problems with current research strategies for HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria in Africa and develop and document innovative collaborative solutions.
